I wanted to commend the staff at Switcheon for their fantastic installation support. I just recently purchased their remote thermostat for my hangar, where it would control a older Bryant hanging gas heater. The wiring was old, and I did not have a common wire. The only problem I had was with Verizon. It seems that I was so low on their priority list that it took about 10 hours for them to activate my unit.

Installed this in our hangar, it controls a new Reznor heater. Operation of the SwitcheOn Thermostat has been absolutely seamless and dead reliable – it is amazing how quickly a control input on the app becomes action in the hangar (usually seconds). Speaking of the app, we have had a SwitcheOn for the last year (oil & cabin heater) and we were amazed at how perfectly it integrates the thermostat. Scan the QR code on the thermostat, and boom, instantly there’s a duplicate of the thermostat panel on your phone. We turn on the oil heater the night before flying, and the next morning, turn on the thermostat as we leave the house – the hangar is nice and toasty when we arrive. Don’t think about it, just buy one, you won’t regret it.

Big selling point for me was using the cell network, which allowed me not to have to maintain internet service while gone. I installed it in March and it has already paid for itself.
